first in sits here
T1set
next one inThe room is empty. Table 1 is set: the first entry of 2,500 MATCHROOM or more sits down there and waits; the next entry in sits across, and the bigger stake leaves with both.
Every table
- No tables played yet. Table 1 is set and waiting for its first entry.
House rules
- Sit. Bring at least 2,500 MATCHROOM. If an entry is waiting at the open table, you sit across from it. If not, you open the next table and wait.
- Settle. The moment the second chair fills, the table settles in that same transaction: the bigger stake takes the smaller one, less a 2% service charge on the smaller stake.
- Ties. Equal stakes? The chair keeps it: a tie goes to whoever sat first.
- The cap. Nobody sits across with more than three times the waiting stake.
- Cleared. Nobody came in 20 minutes? The table is cleared and the whole stake is handed back. Waiting is free. Being smaller is not.
- Collect. Winnings and hand-backs wait in your credit; collect them any time.
Worked example, table 4
0xA sits with 6,000 and waits. 0xB walks in with 4,000.
6,000 is bigger, so 0xA takes both: 6,000 + 4,000 − 80 service (2% of 4,000) = 9,920. 0xB leaves with nothing.
Had 0xB brought 8,000: 8,000 + 6,000 − 120 = 13,880 to 0xB. Brought 6,000 exactly: a tie, 11,880 to 0xA. The most anyone could bring across was 18,000.
Had nobody walked in for 20 minutes: table 4 is cleared and 0xA gets the 6,000 back, whole.
